Purchased an out of state 1964 Amazon Wagon in December and last week it finally arrived. Here it is arriving to its new home in Southern California. The plan is to get it running reliably. The drivetrain is in amazing shape. I am told it has the 4 speed with the overdrive but the overdrive isn’t working. Previous owner never tried to get it working. I need to get the the brakes rebuilt and working well. The ignition key is stuck in the ignition in the on position (already purchased a replacement ignition and keys) so have to replace that, and then charge the battery. Then address the suspension, interior, and rusty bits. I was planning on paint and body, but maybe I might keep the rusty patina, give it an aggressive stance and drive it!
