rear shock absorber

this come up once in a while on many makers cars , i have done some searching but cannot find any info on the v50 rear shocks are they one way or 2 way damping

All shock absorbers have 2 way damping, but compression damping tends to be rather lighter in comparison to the rebound damping!
Or do you mean something else?
