my xc90 - diesel will not start using the key. i changed the battery and the battery terminals were reversed. checked all the fuses and they are ok. my
mechanic has looked at car and started it by doing something to the starter motor. but it will still not work with the key. My reading tells me that there are starter relays. can anyone tell me where they are and which one to replace, found relays five in the engine compartment. had the car for just over a year and do very little mileage; great car, but my experience does not cover either Volvo vehicles or diesel engines.
