Bulb failure warning and lights does not work

Hi,

I have been looking around this forum for a while, but have never posted.

I have retrofitted a HID kit that I bought from ebay. Now I ended up with "Low beam bulb failure warning" and the light does not come on. :(

Have been searching through the forums and found this link.

Does it work with S40 MY2005? Has any one tried this in new S40? Looks like I might go back to my old bulbs. Is there any other solution available than going back?
