I have just been to look at a P reg 960 2.3 saloon (manual) turbo.

it's advertised at £760.00.

It's done 100,000 miles and has a service record up till 60,000, nearly a year's mot and is for sale by a ? dealer. There is some damage to the interior such as front centre arm rest, lid broken and some damage to the interior of the doors with tears/bubbling of the fabric. There is also a dent in one of the rear doors and the usual scratches etc. The engine sounds very good.

Before I take it for a test drive, what do other members think?

All comments welcome.

The car you are looking at is a 940, not a 960. There was no 2.3 turbo engine in the 960 for the 1997 model year afaik and besides, most of the 1997 960's were badged S90's. £760.00 seems reasonable enough for a 1997 940 saloon in reasonable condition.
