Hi all, hope you can help!
My 2002 (02 Plate) Volvo S40 D has recently died - no power and lots of smoke!
I've been informed by my local garage that the turbo has gone and he has priced me a new, non-volvo unit at £590 + VAT + Delivery (then fitting on top!) Volvo have quoted £1100 for the part alone.
The Dealer who sold the car in 2002 swears blind it's the 102Bhp model but didn't check their records (said that the 115bhp didn't get fitted until later??)
Does antone know where I can get a part cheaper than £600? I've seen a turbo for £330 on ebay but it's the 115bhp model.
Any help would be greatfully appreciated!!
