Greetings.
I've just brought my 440, and my service has gone very badly wrong - see thread in 400 series for the full gory details. Long and short of it is I have ended up with the base of an oil filter *welded* to the oil cooler.
I need to get the cooler out.
I've found I Can't pysically rotate the cooler as the LHS water pipe crashes into a cast mounting on the block. So I'm now stumped.
The only way I can see to get it off is to hacksaw or grind off the pipe on the cooler. That done how on earth would I get a replacement oil cooler on ?
