Hi wondering if someone could help. I am newbie and want some advice on changing the alternator on 1997 P V40 TD non air con model. I am complete novice and any help would be appreciated. I have the alternator sitting in the garage ready but dont know where to start. Do i need anything special or any tools specific to the job? Is it simply a case of taking one off and putting one on?
