Hi just wondering if some body mite know if their is any adjustment on the rear 440 Brake Calipers regarding the handbrake when you pull the handbrake on it has full travel on the calipers right to the blocks and the pads are near new.
Thanks

firstly slacken the cable adjuster off under the car ,
There are small caps on the inner sides of the calipers which need a 5 mm allen key to remove ( Hint , tap them with a solid hammer to free them before you round off the allen key hole ) Once you have the cap off you need a 4 mm allen key to wind the adjuster in clockwise until the pads are up against the disk , then back off slightly so the disc rotates freely , it is ok to rub the pads lightly . .... then re adjust the cable so the lever travel is about 3 clicks ..
Problem points :
Any sign of brake fluid under the adjuster cap you need a new caliper .
If the adjuster is siezed you need a new caliper .
If the boots on the caliper end of the cable are torn or broken renew them after injecting some oil in to lubricate the cable . they are available separatly .
