hiya guys i recently bought a 460CD and overall it was a great deal, as in Im the second owner from new and the former driver was a lady driver and as a result the car was (and still is) kept in exceptional condition, it had only 69000 in the clock which i was very happy about and its been serviced every year since new so that is an even bigger plus :a1:
Here are some pictures of it

it just needs a well deserved wash but I've been to busy to do it as yet :(

hi and welcome, the car looks clean and at that sort of mileage with the service record you should get many years of reliable motoring from it.

Looks nice

I just bought a 460 CD too - same age as yours - less miles but your bodywork looks in better condition. Mine had 2 previous owners.

What engine is yours? Mine's a 1.7 turbo with auto transmission.

Only downside is it is going to take you an eternity to join the 150 club!

My 440 (garage willing) is on 111,000 and the cry from the back of the car after a long run isn't about whether we've reached our destination, but whether the car has broken the 150,000 mile mark!!!!

Please take it easy until you have "run" the car in to your way of driving, i say this only because a few years ago I purchased a one lady owner car with low mileage and when i opened up the cars potential i succeeded in burning out a valve which landed me with quite a respectable repair bill, hopefully this will not happen to you but better to err on the side of caution.

What a great find! Fab' looking car!

1.7 Turbos are not trouble free, as you'll find if you look on here for things such as idling problems! That said, yours is such a 'baby' in terms of mileage, you've got plenty of time to read up & keep an eye on the potential faults:thumbs_up:

Mines a 91' 480 Turbo auto. 146k miles now & it is now getting quite difficult to keep running reliably with my very limited mechanical knowledge.

Thinking very seriously about giving up on it this year:broken_heart:

But you've got yonks to go get to my stage, and probably more knowledge to keep it going!

well I've racked up about 3000 miles since i got it :D quiet a lot of motorway mileage, so not a lot left Ill be there soon because i might have to do some cross-motor-country with it to get parts :D
