Hi all

Dont know if you can help but will ask anyway

I have recently got given a 440 as my last car blew up and a nice friend said i could have it, which was nice.

The car is pretty much perfect and everything works with the exception of the stereo, I took the stereo out of my old car went to Halfords to get the adaptor, I was told that the 440 does not need any adaptors to get it working but it definately does as they are totally different.

does anyone know where i can get an adaptor to fit it and what model no. it is.

Cheers for looking

I have a J plate 460 and that PC2-43-4 adapter has the wrong fittings.

i found a PC2-16-4 did the job fine - but you may need to connect the permenant life and switched live on your aftermaket head unit to the one live on the adapter (the head unit should be able to do this using the mini-loom attached to it).

I asked the guys in Halfords for advice and they ordered me the wrong one even though I took the car and old headset in...
