480 info center - ???

I have checked and resoldered all connections and reset the info center but I am still getting 60.1mpg on my instant fuel consumption no matter how I drive . Every so often I get the correct Reading so I think it maybe a bad connection on the sensor but where is it ? .....

Instand fuel info comes from a signal from the speedo and a signal from the ECU. So there's no specific sensor for the inst.fuel, the BC calculates the fuel consumption from these signals. Firts thing I would suspect is the multi switch. Remove it and take a multimeter to check resistance. (zwischen means between)
