440 turbo no boost???help

car wont rev over 2,500 going up hill. and im getting no boost.i bought a new actuator but no difference. im stumped please help , nathan

Check all of the pipes from the air-filter back to the turbo intake port for leaks.

The awkward blighter that is attached to the port with a large jubilee often splits & the others perish also. Not cheap either at around £10 an inch they work out to!

AFAIK, the turbo's themselves, if they've had regular oil changes are long lived, high mileage not being a problem................. hides behind sofa waitng to be corrected LOL

thanks for that, i'll give it a try. read somewhere washer inside turbo falls off wastegate lever ?? will keep posting.

basically the cat was blocking the exhaust, removed cat by a big bar and hammer, took honeycomb out. replaced empty cat. sorted 1bar boost.
