Volvo 440 Xi 1.8

Hi Guys I have just bought myself a Volvo 440 Xi 1.8 as a runaround from my other car i was using on a daily basis (Nissan S14).

I wanted to know what are the technical specs on this car/engine.

What can be done to increase the power of the car. So far i have fitted an induction kit.

Is there any tip/tricks on how to unlease some more power?

I dont think there is much you can do to be honest. Ive posted a thread to find out if there is anything that can be done. Ive got a 460 with the 1.8 lump and like i said in my thread it just feels a bit gutless. Dont get me wrong they're a superb engine, you'd just expect more from a 1.8!! So far ive done the same as you, just an induction kit. I havnt explored the renault side of things to see if they know of anything, as its a renault engine they might have a few ideas. Anyway, long story short, aside from a complete engine swap, 1.7 turbo or 2.0, i cant see much you can do. But please, if you find out anything i'd be very interested!! Sorry i couldnt be more help!:stormy:
