Hi All,
Ive got an S reg T4 - very nice car - always happy until tonight. Was driving trouough local town centre and car just cut out whilst in 2nd gear. Coasted to a halt and then tried to restart, car turns over but nothing else. As it was dark not much can be done at the roadside so called a friend for a tow home.
Put hazzards on and waited for a tow to arrive, got out of car again 5 mins later to see a huge pool of oil coming from underneath car! Due to the time of year not much is going to happen for a couple of days until garages all open again. Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience or if anyone has any idea about what the possible causes could be?
Only other potential sign is that car has been a little sluggish for the last couple of days but is due a service about now so just put it down to that?
Is it a £2 seal or a new engine ?- thanks in advance for replies.
