Chrome Plating Manchester- recommended firms

I'm doing a major refurb on my 1963 P1800 and need to get the chrome replated. I'm based in Manchester and I've done a search for firms in the area but there are so many and I know absolutely NOTHING about chrome plating - so can anyone recommend a firm they have used or give me some advice on the questions I should ask?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi I live in Manchester and went to a small firm in openshaw a one man band.

Cheap and for me was an excellent job. He has done my front bumper and I,M takinhg my back bumber this week.

Hi, I am in Sale and Bernard currently has my 122 for some significant work (he is based at Broadheath). He mentioned a company in Stockport that does plating - I will try and contact him to get the name. Also, try Leigh Metal Polishing (728 4325) as they can do all the prep and arrange plating. Also they can also bring aluminium, stainless etc up to a mirror finish.
