More power at lower revs

Hi again, are there any worthwhile aftermarket mod's for my 2.3 940 non turbo which could give me an increase in power lower in the rev band. The engine only comes to life after 2800 rpm. Sports exhausts, re chiping etc. any info would be welcome.

nothing really you can do except either fit a lower ratio final drive ( axle) or fit one of the turbo engines .
