Electronic Ignition

Thinking of fitting an Lumenition Magnetronic or Optronic to my 1997, B18, 122S, can anyone advise me of the best type to get, and what Distributor should be fitted to my car in order to buy the correct system.

Didn't know they made 122 s through to 1997! I fitted lumenition 123 to my 1967 122s and assume you have identical. Very easy to fit and has worked well / would recommend. I don't know about distributor types but hopefully someone else will comment and this previous post might help

If your in Oban... Have you seen the 144 in the 144 for sale section... I'd be interested if I were in Oban. Lumenition 123 much cheaper in the USA with current exchange rate (see ebay)... but I'd order by distributor number if doing that.

Thanks, yes the owner of the 144 was in touch with me before the car was advertised on the forum, if I had the space I would be on the ferry for it ! but already have three Volvo's outside the house. Seen the car about 3/4 years ago at Northern BKV, it was good then, could be a very cheap project for someone, as stated in the post I can help out with ferry times information etc.
