Hello Mates........back with a new problem/opportunity.

My gas tank is leaking....water finally got its way. Have you heard of a place to find new tanks? I have an estate and a coupe..the coupe has the rust hole...the estate is fine...so far....knock on metal.

I've got a saloon fuel tank for sale, but Oregon's a bit far from the A34 really.

There was me thinking this would be a thread asking where to fit a gas tank (LPG). When I read the gas tank is leaking I a little worried for the owner and then it becomes abvious our us freind has a leaking petrol tank.

I've got to say the only leaks I've seen on amazon petrol tanks is where they have been punctured.

Is it corrosion that as caused teh leak?

Yes, you can rust out the bottom of a gas tank. It's much more common on an early 1800 tank than an Amazon tank.

I have a few good used tanks about and will try to give you a call at lunch time. Or you can call me.
