Hi All,
I've just had to get the head done on this after the cambelt snapped. Anyway I put it all back together and after a long time cranking, it started up and ran beautifully but only for about 5 to 6 minutes. It then stopped and now I can't get it to start again :(
I've replaced the glow plugs and there does seem to be diesel going to the injectors but it will not start. It does appear to be wanting to start however but no go...
i've put a few drops of petrol on the air filter and it does fire up on the vapor but does not seem to want to run on diesel!!
any ideas please??? this is doing my head in and I can't afford to take it anywhere at the moment.
Someone told me that this was a HDi engine? Is this true? its got five separate pipes running to the diesel pump and one injector with a wire attached?
