I need to get the doors on my 133 repaired or replaced. The frames are pretty bad and the skins gone around the bottom edges. Has anyone had doors repaired and been happy with the result and would like to recommend the place that did the work. I don't want a cheap bodge, I don't mind paying for a really good job. Thanks.

The doors, sills, wheel arches etc on my 122S were repaired by Karl Smalley of Kar Kraft, Cambrian Yard, Dolgellau, Gwynedd 01341 422055 I watched him carry out a lot of the work and he did a superb job. Not cheap but excellent quality and he will give photographic or video report on the work as well. I am confident enough in his work to be planning to take mine up for a few more small jobs later in the year - and it is a 570 mile round trip for me!

I am in South Africa so I can hardly help with people to do the work. However, everyone needs repair panels. Try BROOKHOUSE VOLVO PARTS, IPSWICH. www.brookvolvo.co.uk. They have doorskins and door bottom repair sections. Good catalogue too.
