Engine will not fire up

Posted May 22nd, 2012 at 23:35 by BrianH

Two pumps have been replaced. Tank replaced. The petrol system flushed, new fuel filter fitted.

All elecrics checked (no electronics on this B200E engine). Timing, valve timing, injector check, Exhaust check? air inlet check.
Went back Saturday afternoon, engine running due to clearing fuel flooding!! Run round industial estate to clear but still not running smoothly like 3 and a half cycinders.

It has to be over fuelling, (black plugs) perhaps trying to run on both fuels. Running better on gas than petrol....just.

Now approaching Wednesday!!

19 days off the road, a record. With water contamination in the injuction system this a problem. I have supplied a spare petrol distributor.

Expert due at Al's Auotos Tuesday afternoon.
