As we approach the show season, please make a note of the date for the Kimbolton Country Fayre: Sunday 16th July (this is the Sunday after our National Rally at Stratford). As most of you know we try and use this show as our annual 1800 get-together, though with Covid and fuel issues in recent years attendance has been lower than in previous times. There is a change to the way tickets will be issued this year in that wristbands will be sent directly to people intending to come which is aimed at speeding up entry to the show. In previous years I have received the wristbands and sent them out prior to the show but in most years I only received them a week or so in advance so it was often touch and go whether they’d get to you on time. Please could you let me know, ideally by e-mail (nmmurray1986@gmail.com), if you intend coming to the show as I need to confirm numbers to the organisers, nearer the time, I assume I’ll need confirmation of your addresses to pass onto the organisers, thanks. For those of you who’ve not been before, I’d thoroughly recommend it; the setting of Kimbolton Castle (actually a private school) is quite superb with beautifully maintained grounds and there’s plenty of things to keep non-car people interested, with craft stalls, animal displays etc as well as about a thousand classic cars and associated parts and accessory stalls. It would be great if we could get double-figure attendance this year.

When and where is the next 2023 show? The Kimbolton Charity Classic and Country Fayre will take place at Kimbolton Castle, Cambridgeshire, PE28 0EA, Sunday 10th July, 2022. The organisers have not provided a telephone number.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE KIMBOLTON CHARITY CLASSIC AND COUNTRY FAYRE?
Kimbolton Country Fayre is now in it’s 29th glorious year, a spectacular charity event for the whole family, organised by volunteers from The Rotary Club of Kimbolton Castle and The Sporting Bears Motor Club. It is held in the beautiful grounds of Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire, the home of Kimbolton School which has generously supported this event for many years.
Although we try to keep the information for this event as up to date as possible, we cannot guarantee that things haven't changed at the last minute, and we haven't been informed. Therefore, please contact the 'Kimbolton Charity Classic and Country Fayre' event holder directly to confirm all details (especially event name, dates and location) before setting off to Cambridgeshire.
