To say I am furious is an understatement.

The volvo was parked up off the road for goodness sake!

Anyway I spoke to her, and she immediately offered to pay for the damage.
I emailed the chap who done the corner scuffs, and he quoted £126.

I phoned the lady, and she said she will call him tomorrow.

Thank god the bumper isn't dented or cracked!!!

Your real lucky that she was honest and left her number. Most would have driven off.

It might be worth offering the touch up guy a cash deal to touch in any other blemishes you may have on the car whilst his with you.

Well it seems she may not be as honest as first thought.

She hasn't contacted the guy, and isn't answering her phone.
She's got til tomorrow night then I'll report it to the police so I can get her details.

Well the naughty pensioner is proving a little evasive.
The police aren't being very helpful in locating her either.

Granted it's only a graze across the bumper, but it's not the point, the only possible way she could have hit the car was by driving dangerously.

Any way, here's a few pictures of my car.. she scrubs up well for an old bird!

And finally 1 of the grazed bumper. :(

Sad too see it go Marc it's a nice motor that :) , but the v70 is also :) good luck with the sale.

Thanks mate.
It is a shame to sell her, but as you know, parking is a premium for me, especially as I have my van to.

I'm getting the new car from Volvo in Yeovil, as my new delivery route is in the area, so it's convenient to call in.
They have got a few gorgeous motors on the forecourt I would love to have!
Hopefully tomorrow they should be able to let me know the level of finance on offer, then I can choice the car!

I just need to find a way to get home... But that's a different story!

If you need a hand give me a shout mate ;) . Aslong as you cover fuel costs we can go up in mine and you can drive youre new beast home, I'm quite envious I've been eyeing up that black v70 r design up on the forecourt by the co op for ages if only I had 10 grand spare lol. If you need somewhere to store the s70 I am happy for you too keep it up here until you sell her also.
