The car should be a wonderous thing to drive. My wife’s 2010 XC70 has 215 bhp from the factory and is pretty rapid. 300 bhp would I imagine be fun. The age is good as is the mileage as a replacement for her nearly 200,000 mile model. The mpg is decent enough on a run and the comfort is as she knows excellent. That road tax is just daft though. My Discovery has £585 a year already. Two at that rate would be too much.

Reg is AF13 VME
Demonstrator plus current owner who has owned 21 Volvos and is 87. Just 30k with FMDSH and driven sedately. £16k If I was in a position to buy it I would. I was personally offered it but with a house move around the corner and a covid-scarred business, I have to (heartbreakingly) offer it to other enthusiasts. A heads-up if you will. It is not currently advertised anywhere else. |
Hi XCR
Could you let me know if XC70 T6 is still for sale, and what would be the procedure to view the vehicle. Kind Regards Mike |
I believe it is. If you PM me your number I will pass it on to the gentleman owner.
Thanks, Mark. |
Hi Mark
Have replied to your PM with my contact details. Kind regards Mike |
Ad says 2013 then it is a 2008! Always a good idea to pitch a price up which you did in the previous ad. Or is this a different car as last photo is same.Eliminates a lot of people before the nitty gritty starts.

The car for sale is a 2013. His signature says he owns a 2008 XC70. He isn’t selling his 2008 car. |
Quite possibly have been known to lose it recently. Ignore any more posts from me until I am safely locked away.

By way of underlining the thread, the car is now sold to a forum member.
Well done on the purchase of a superb vehicle sir, may you enjoy it for a long time to come. As I stated previously, I'd loved to have been in a position to buy it myself but one day, one day... Thanks all for your input. |
