Any ideas what margins they do have?
I guess it depends on how much they paid, and how long its sat in the showroom, Golf is not for sale yet, still need to find the right V70, but will keep you posted, if your interested? |
Put the reg and mileage in here and you will get a pretty good idea of what a trader should give you in P/EX (average condition)

WARNING - Do not enter your car reg into the above CAP link unless you are sitting down with a large Scotch in your hand!!!!
I have just suffered a mild anxiety attack at the loss of value should I choose to sell anytime soon. Perhaps those lease deals are not so bad after all speaking as an ex-company car man now in receipt of a car allowance instead! I thought I had got over the worst of the depreciaton by buying at 11 months old. |

Try extracting more than those CAP values from a dealer, I think you will draw a blank! |

It looks like for most people, selling privately is not an option. Maybe some people need the 'value' in their old car to be realised at the point of exchange, maybe some people can't keep two cars at the same time (how do you get your insurance NCB transferred if you still have your old car insured too?), maybe you just don't want the hassle giving test drives to time wasters. |
