Yeah, i work in a main dearlers (bmw, shhh don't tell anyone) so me mot only cost £20 and £16.50 for the spring from eurocarparts.

Mine failed MOT today on ball joint play, track rod play, brake discs too thin and a sidelamp bulb out. I'm pretty happy with that actually. I've got a month to get the faults fixed before re-test anyway. Ball joint is the stand out one, the others are easy peasy.

This week I have
changed heated oxygen sensor and cleared CEL
fixed fuel gauge(wire had broken off sender in tank)
sorted seized rear caliper

Ordered up 2 new Lambda sensors, genuine volvo ones with rufe are £178.50 inc. vat each, normal price is £250 inc. each!!

Ordered NTK ones instead which are way cheaper and are OEM.

I parked mine in a small car park near work this morning.

I polished her on weekend with a halfords electric mop/polishing thing.


And now it has bird poo all over rear window and both rear side windows :(

Gutted....

Hopefully, I will be reunited with mine tomorrow!

Been offshore for the last 9 days and should be flying home tomorrow pm.

Roll on the weekend and praying for good, car cleaning weather.
