Fully working. Was used on a 2014 Mk1 XC90, but the car has been sold, so surplus to requirements. Adds what should have been basic functionality, such as auto folding wing mirrors and window closing using the key fob.

Have you programmed it with your VIN number? Assume the CFE needs this to work as the CFE+ does.

yes tried that.. i need the old classic software as the link to volvotech is dead

it wont work... your sending me a link to volvotech and they dont exist anymore.. the website has gone. you can dload a version from the newer company, but it wont work with my version of cfe..

We've found out today that the VolvoTech CFE Classic configuration program installer will not work now the VolvoTech website is unavailable.

On a general note to the community, if you need to get the configurator installed, I found out how to work around this problem and can give you the files and instructions on how to set it up.

CondorXC90 - I've seen your message, but the system isn't letting me reply at the moment.

I'll send you the details when I can.

The system isn't let me post private messages, but I might as well make this public anyway.

In terms of updating the software, that is beyond me unfortunately.

But if you need to install the software on a new PC, I've made an installer for the CFE configurator that doesn't need to connect to the old VolvoTech website.

This is CFE Updater V9.5.0.21 with firmware version V9.54 (with V9.64_BETA included, should you want to use that).

Max HEADVROOM - this is a newer version than the one I gave you yesterday, so you might want to update your installation.

Instructions:

Download this file to your Documents folder and then double click it -https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rty...JbLLNwaGmqf1A/

Once it's finished installing, look in the new VolvoTech folder in Documents and there will be another folder called Shortcut for the Desktop.

Inside that, there is a shortcut link to run the program - copy that to your Desktop and you can run the program from there.

Or you can double-click on the CFE Updater.exe file in the VolvoTech folder in your Documents.

Hi xc9011 I've seen your post in the Volvo Community group and wanted to know if I could please have access to the CFE Classic files you spoke about above as the link says I need a password to access them. Currently, I am unable to use my CFE Classic as it wont connect to the VolvoTech web site. Thank you in advance for your help mate.
