cabin sensor
Does anyone know the part number to the cabin sensor that lives behind the grab handle under a plastic cap
Thanks in advance Dan |
I assume because you say under the grab handles you must have an 850?

Yes thanks

9134822 I believe. Volvo doesn't supply them anymore and there are no similar ones in the P80 C/S/V70s. If they aren't visibly broken (i.e. spring loose and obviously knackered), try cleaning them:

Thanks for reply was looking at this on eBay
1363439 Intake Air Temperature Sensor (Cabin Air Temperatur) Volvo 8 338080-3 Must be wrong part from Lithuania I think my sensors knackered |
That's the one that lives in the dash, the two aren't interchangeable. You will really have a hard time finding sensors I think. I've yet to find any breakers in 17 months that have ECC to pinch the sensors from and even US sources like IPD and FCP no longer stock them.

I also have a hard time finding 850's in the breaker yards. I cleaned those micro fans with a wooden tooth pick - just be super careful. Using a crevasse nozzle with a vacuum cleaner will get any loose dirt out.

Unfortunately I’ve managed to snap mine at the coil. I have been looking for about a year with no success. Thanks dan

It’s the drivers that’s broke on mine I’ve tried everywhere with no luck
Thanks for letting me know it’s a different part number I going to remove it this weekend is it an easy job Thanks dan |
Easy? No. The plastic trim on the A and B pillar need to be removed. The headliner needs to be carefully prised so it will not break off or crease. There are two T25 screws that hold it in place.
Expect some foam backing from the headliner to crumble, it is very old and dried out. |
