ignition switch wanted!
 

hi

im now in week 12 of a quest to get my lovely volvo back on the road. Im looking for a replacement ignition barrel switch. my electrics are faulty and ive had it traced to the round electric switch at the end of the barrel. If anyone has one for sale id be very interested to hear from you. If you search my nick name, siadow you will see some posts on my woes!

thanks for being so quick! Yep, i think what you describe is right. The garage guy said it would be the electrical connection behind the key barrel. Please let me know for definite asap!

Yes , I did have one lurking,it pays to keep everything!
This is a metal unit with a brown plastic base, held to the ignition switch by two screws,with a seies of contact pins moulded in
