Be good to see a few more on the roads, only seen two others, one in Belgium and one in Glasgow. |
Doesn't say. Would imagine it will be the new VEA 4.

Sounds like a detuned VEA...possibly forthcoming D3 spec? Or, more likely, a special level, somewhere between a D3 and a D4, to make a "D5" level once combined with the electric motor.

Probably done because the D6 is far far too expensive and not been a sales hit, plus Volvo can also get rid of current 2400cc D5 engines, (or rather all the bits they have to make the D5 engines - for those that will question whether there are 1000's of D5 engines sitting on the shelf waiting to be used) Regards |

D5 Twin Engine launching ?
I noticed the V60 D5 Twin Engine on the volvo website car configurator. £38015 for a fairly high spec car, £2500 grant available and seems like a £3000 dealer grant can be combined with a £3500 finance grant when taking Advantage PCP.
Total price around £29015 for a 163+68 hybrid car. To me it seems like a damned decent price for a decent car. |
