Wanted OEM Tow Bar & Electrics for a 2005 XC70 D5
Hi
As the title suggests I'm after a tow bar for the 2005 XC70 I've recently picked up. Must have the removable tow ball (fed up of trying to bust my knees on the fixed tow ball on the old 4x4 the XC70 replaced). Also would prefer a OEM set up c/w the electrical harness just to make life simple plugging it in. Anyone just happen to have one kicking about the shed please? |
Anyone breaking a XC70 with a towbar fitted please?

Recently sold mine, but here are a few photos so you can see what you need.

Still looking, these things seem to be as rare as hens teeth!

Hi - I picked one up on eBay for £100 a month or so ago. It came with the harness, trailer module and a spare 13 pin to 7 x interior power splitter cable. It was OEM (Brink) with a Volvo part number. I took it apart and sprayed it before fitting. Easy to fit - just plug in. Hardest bit is fitting the mudflaps back on (they are still off...) - you need to do this before the wheels are put back on :-)

Thanks Steve, but I'm particularly after the one with the removable tow ball, the knees are bad enough as it is and they don't win the tow ball/knee argument!

Bump time, still looking for the towbar if anyone is breaking a 2005/6 XC70?
