V50 D3 2011, 45k miles fault code p1407
 

Hi, Im hoping somebody can help, had the above fault code read following an engine management light coming on a couple of months ago, its an egr fault but garage is not convinced its at fault, egr has been cleaned but told it wasnt that dirty, much searching on the net and it appears it could any number of sensors relating to the emissions system anybody any ideas, i'm led to believe it is most likely the DPF pressure sensor ?.
The car performs fantasticaly with good mpg (46 mpg on a daily round trip of 32 miles) and two days ago passed its MOT ! The emissions readout was 15 to 20% lower than last year, have been using shell v power nitro diesel.
Car has full Volvo service history.
