Xc70 2.4t stalling low speed - ETM?
 

Hi all

I have had this twice now - my 2002 XC70 manual has stalled when pulling into a junction or on a roundabout. Revs just Plummet to zero lights on dash and steering goes heavy. Restarts without a hitch and we carry on.

Done a bit of research and looks like this can point towards a dirty ETM - does that sound like it could be the case? I have no codes or lights on

Hard to say remotely, yes a problem with the ETM can cause the car to stall and restart like nothing happened, but of course it's not the only possibility.
