Hi everyone I am looking for a 4 speed overdrive M41 gearbox for my GT. Can anyone help.

The first one is right. They say it works fine but you have to collect it. From France presumably. It has an 1800S top so you'd have to get a 120 top drilled and tapped for one of the switches.

I'll have an M41+OD and the short propshaft up for sale in a few weeks, currently in the car behind a pallet of quarry tiles which I need to get sold first, so I can move the car and put in my J-type OD 'box.
Although it all works, the linings of the overdrive may need renewing, as I recall reversing up a very steep drive it would slip a bit!

Unfortunately a worn or damaged o/d slips going backwards when disengaged. I suspect that you knew that!

Not sure I actually did. I know you shouldn't use reverse when OD is still engaged. :regular_smile:

The inhibitor switch would take care of that.

@Jackie1967, let me know if interested in the Overdrive 'box, It'll go on ebay otherwise, sometime next week I expect.
