I'm selling because I'm renovating a flat with all my free time, so I don't have the time to give it the love it should be getting. 111,000 miles -Full Service History (until I bought it, then serviced twice by me) -MOT until (i think) May 2018 -2.0 n/a 5 speed manual -No welding ever done or needed Good points: -Daily driven, reliable as hell, only breakdown in the last 30k was the fuel pump relay which has been fixed. -Aside from a few marks, the paint work is in great condition. -Custom made manifold-back full stainless exhaust system from Longlife worth £470. -Shag-pile carpet headlining - a really good install, no flappy bits or anything. -Good Brakes, good legal tyres, good clutch, plush suspension, smooth engine. Bad points: -Speedo back-lights don't work. They have worked before but flickered out, could be bulbs but probably a dodgy earth, not an MOT fail. -Fuel gauge works intermittently. It will never say there's fuel when there isn't, but often shows almost no fuel when there is. -One clear section of the left rear light cluster has fallen out. -A few age-related dings, worst being a cracked front headlamp and a dent in the bonnet. -A bit wobbly over 70mph, I think the tracking needs doing. -Rust spot on bottom of rear door, size of an apple, not structural, easy grind & repaint job. (plate not included) £700 Would consider a swap for something cheap. |
Bump.
I'm after a quick sale so I'd consider a few low-ball offers! I can also throw in a free novelty horn. |
Price drop!
550 takes it |

Apologies for interfering but perhaps this is an offline discussion or by pm, you don't even know the guy's gonna buy it - has he seen it ?
Offers don't always lead to a purchase - unless the buyer is there with you with a handful of folding money. Jon N.B easily worth what you were originally asking. |

UPDATE
1) I had a fiddle and got the speedo lit up again. Only one bulb is working but I'm fairly certain the other bulbs just need replacing: https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...b3&oe=5A089CD5 2) I swapped the full-size spare wheel onto the front left side and the 70mph wobble has gone. Must have been an unbalanced wheel. It now cruises like a train. With this in mind, £550 is a very good price. |
A very fair price indeed. What a lot of car for the money. Hope you get a quick sale.

A bargain! I wish I had seen this before I got mine.
