Wanted : Factory fitted (Golde) tilt & slide sunroof parts
 

Hello all,
I am in need of a few sunroof parts :
Cable Drive Gear 3269078-4
RH Cable 3269077-8

At the moment the sunroof is wedged up with a block of wood from IKEA in keeping with the Swedish aesthetic ;-)

Any suggestions for how to source these (apart from trawling breakers) much appreciated.

I might have those bits on a parts car I have. I'm not quite ready to pull the sunroof out yet though

I have dis-assembled the cable drive gear that was on this 360.
It turned out the eccentric lobe on the spindle was worn away by about 1mm and the gear wheel it operated on was in 3 pieces.
It's a 36 year old sunroof that clearly saw some action!
I was considering moulding some replica gear wheels in hard plastic but to repair the spindle would involve some deft welding and precise hand filing - too much trouble!

Anyone with non working cable gear drive units (the bit the handle attaches to)
I would be interested in buying those cheaply to cannibalize the good internal parts.

It could be worse, the one on my first 360 broke while I was on holiday and it snowed, while open about 2 inches!
