Yep, selling my number plate. Have (had) this on my Rebel Blue XC60. At the DVLA going through the removal and retention process, shouldn’t take long.
Currently on eBay item 324203966355.

I failed to make the 'Rebel' connection, 'mrc1501', but immediately thought of it's possible appeal to a Royal British Legion supporter. I guess that it's significance is whatever it means to the person concerned!

Exactly John......it can be whatever anyone wants it to be. For me it stood out as ReBeL and hence why I put it on my car.

Still available, but not received the retention certificate yet after 5 weeks waiting.

This plate is sat on a car in a Volvo dealership down here near Gatwick!

If it’s on a rebel blue XC60 then it’s mine. I’ve returned the car to Doves Gatwick for a full refund. DVLA are sitting on my number plate retention application for 6 weeks now, and Doves Gatwick will only now, after 5 weeks of having the car, agree to a partial refund, and the rest on production of the V5.

Glad it's yours though, was concerned it was a clone or something given the distance from where your location is set but all good that it's OK!

If your local, then do me a favour and make a general enquiry to see if the car is for sale, and also if it comes with the plate. It would be interesting to see what they say 🤔

Plate now removed by DVLA so should receive retention certificate in the next few days
