Volvo p1800ES RHD for sale
 

VOLVO P1800ES, very special car in exceptional condition.
First delivered to a Mister J. Newton in Southport on 14/08/1973. First registration: NTE822M. Car was sold to the Netherlands in 2003 and has then undergone a first restoration. In 2007, the car went to a Belgian customer who used the car for everyday travel. I purchased the car in 2013 and till 2015, the car underwent a full restoration, bodywork and mechanic. Thereafter , the car only went out for some Classic Car Events . The car has chassisnumber 7072 (only 8077 cars were build!) and has the very rare Sea Green metallic color. RHD and the original 3-speed Borg & Wagner automatic gearbox.
Car is in concours condition , is completely original and has the special option of Recaro (1973) sportseats in the front. The engine has been tuned by Dutch D-Jetronic specialist Jan Ooms. Also has an anti-theft system. Belgian registration. This special and exceptional car has to go to make space for an other (younger…) project. Car stays in the neighbourhood of Antwerp (Belgium). 1980s xr3i recario Seats fitted by the looks of it in black ( possibly reupholstered) nice but unsure how that falls into originally fitted ?

Hello, yes I made a small mistake.

The RECARO seats in front are aftermarket for Volvo, they are from the same year 1973, BUT they were an original option (in black !) on the Opel Manta A and the Opel Ascona A in 1973 !
