x40 Front splitter removal
 

Hi, my S40's phase 2 front splitter is an absolutely horrible state, the middle section is completely gone and one side is just hanging down which looks horrible (honestly have to wonder how that is possible) and put a new one at a later stage.
Anyhow, I was trying to take it off last weekend as I thought it would look way better with it removed than with it on at its current state. I removed all of the screws that I could find, but it just didn't come off at all.

So would anyone be able to tell me how to actually remove it? I'd prefer not to take off a bumper as that is a pain in the backside which I had to go through and I'd prefer to not do it again if possible.

Has someone tried to glue in in place?

Can't be quite sure. Should it come off once all the bolts are off from underneath the car? If so any tips on removing it?
