B28E 260/760 2849cc V6 engine wanted pls.
 

Due to an unfortunate incident I'm looking for a complete B28E engine for a 260 (also used in early 760's I understand) must be from a running car please complete engine only please. I understand it's also called the PRV engine.

Any suggestions as to where I may be able to locate an engine. I thought I may have had some luck through this forum. Have tried Lakes at Sandy as well.

What happened to the original engine?

Top of the block rotted through to the oil gallery. Told it's not uncommon on these engines.

If your willing to travel for it, a friend of mine has 3 or 4 of these engines available. I spoke to him today to confirm he still had them before posting. He's located just outside Falkirk, Central Scotland.

That may work, not sure I could travel (other end of the country) but perhaps if he could strap a couple to a pallet????

Head gasket might be gone.
engine is still in car an can be heard runnig.

done about 110.000 miles
