C70 rear shocks

Hi all,
The rear shocks on my 2001 C70: the fixing eye with rubber bush at the bottom of the both shock units, are off-set from the 90 degrees to the center line of the unit. Is this normal, or are my shocks dammed?

Thanks for the link happy Driver, I have a full set of brand new Sachs shocks front and rear, and the bottom bush-eye is at 90 degree to the shock's center line.

It is the original shocks on the car at present, the bottom bush holder-eye seems off-set from 90 degrees to around 80 degrees both near side and off side, i.e., as though they've and the mounting stud been bent somehow.

I need to get the car on a ramp and up at walk-under height to get a good look-see.

The mounting pin is probably slightly bent from years of dealing with our cr@p roads and the original bush in the damper has deformed with it.

You'll probably find that the bush in the new unit will twist to suit

Thanks again for you're insightful responses, and that's about the conclusion I'm arriving at. Although it looks like the whole eye on each shocker that's twisted.
I'd move from Gwynedd to mid Powys (silly me), there was one bend in particular with that high friction light-tan coloured road-surfacing that had been eroded away to expose quite pronounced striation-ridges across the road, gradient and bend. Driving over this sounded like and felt a pneumatic drill. High volume of artics traveling that road going north/south in mid Wales and being some 500 foot above sea-level at that location and high rain-fall so too snow-fall. I'm back in Gwynedd where the roads are so much better :) and at long-last I can get to work on the car. Only I crack a rib a week or so back didn't know till it next morning so have had to go easy, but tomorrow I'm going to attack the jobs that need attention. I'm in mind to take photos and contact that County's road department.
I have a full set of Sarchs shocks to fit, had them for over a year and now I can finally get the job done...hopefully.

Here's the location, proceed down the road, the condition on the bend is worse these days...
