XC40 and dashcam position
 

Having had a few weeks experience of my XC40 with its front and rear screen-mounted dashcams, what strikes me about the camera views is that the rear camera, being mounted in what seems the natural position at the top of the screen , is in fact unnecessarily high and gives a rather high angle of view. This leads me to conclude that the reason for mounting a front camera at the top of the screen is simply to see over the bonnet. This leads to the question of has anyone mounted XC40 dashcams at a lower height and what is their impression of the results?
