240 wide wheels

Hi am after some wheels for my 240. Wide steel wheels or alloy. What have you got? Based in Oxfordshire.

I haven't got any of these to sell - but it's a suggestion...

Has anyone noticed the steel spare wheels which come with some Vauxhall/Opels that look a bit like Virgos? They are 17". I don't know about stud pattern compatibility with Volvos however.

In my opinion, five-spoke rims - in particular Virgos - are the classic 240 wheel.

But these Vauxhall wheels could be a great way to get the 'Virgo' look but at 17" (and you could band then as well I suppose).

Here's a picture of one...

Sooo boring seeing Virgos on every 240. Those steels, they're also found on other makes, not just GM.

I’ve got them on there at the moment. Just like some thing little wider.

What type of wheel are you looking for, alloy or steel ? I've got a set of ocean MK18's.

I think 18’s little to big for me. Have you any photos?

Interested in a set of Volvo Omegas? 5 wheels with no tyres - they're 6J x 15 so will take 190/195 (poss 200) x 60-70 x 15 tyres?

They are low mileage, unrestored, unrefurbished, uncurbed(!), unbuckled and in generally good clean condition...

They are just south of Heathrow if you are interested?

Nick
