v60 d3 r design 5 cylinder 163 for sale
V60 D3 R DESIGN
(This is the 5cylinder D3 Engine, mini D5. Not the newer 4 cylinder D3) Badging now getting very confusing. But this is a volvo engine, do not compare this to the 1.6 peugeot D2 plenty of them around. METALIC BLACK 97800 MILES EXCELLENT CONDITION STUNNING LOOKING VEHICLE £8500 ono EXTERIOR PAINTWORK IS FANTASTIC, THE IS THE ODD LITTLE CHIP LOW ON THE BUMPER BUT THAT IS BEING VERY PICKY. THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES OR DENTS TO MAKE NOTE OF. R DESIGN PACKAGE SO BUMPERS/SKIRTS/EXHAUSTS/MIRRORS/ALLOYS/ETC THE REAR BUMPER HAS A LOAD PROTECTOR SO NO MARKS ON THE BUMPER WHEN LOADING GOODS INTO THE CAR THE ALLOYS DONT HAVE A SINGLE CURB MARKE (NOT 1) THEY WERE REFURBISHED JUST OVER 6 MONTSH AGO AND FINGERS CROSSED HAVE NOT BEEN SCUFFED YET. THEY ARE FINISHED IN A GUN METAL FINSIH WHICH REALLY SUIT THE CAR. THE ORIGINAL FINISH WAS A GREY/DIAMOND CUT FACE BUT LIKE MOST DIAMOND CUT ALLOYS THEY CORRODE WITH ROAD SALT ETC SO I PREFER THIS FULLY PAINTED FINISH. (THULE ROOF RACK NOT INCLUDED! COST ME £240) ENGINE THIS IS A STUNNING ENGINE, ITS THE SMALLEST 5 CYLINDER DIESEL. SO ITS LIGHT YET HAS THE SMOOTH 5 CYLINDER BURBLE, A PROPER VOLVO ENGINE. VOLVOS BADGING HAS GOT QUITE CONFUSING BUT IN 2011 D2=1.6 4 CYLINDER PEUGEOT FORD ENGINE D3= 2.0 5 CYLINDER VOLVO ENGINE 163BHP D4= 2.4 5 CYLINDER VOLVO ENGINE 185BHP D5 = 2.4 5 CYLINDER VOLVO ENGINE 210BHP They stopped using this engine from 2012 onward and so new d3's are a 4 cylinder engine. they will be sold separate or with the car if it goes at the right price.
Roof racks are only 3 months old and cost £240 so don't really want to give them away. Thanks |

hmm, i think it prob is a tab over but when i bought it there was def a price gap between d2 and d3, i know the d2 is a nice engine for a 1.6 but the some difference between it and hards a 5 cyl volvo engine. it was an important part of the search criteria when i was looking for one.
I think you got a bargain to be fair, prob a little more that what the chap had been offered as trade. |
if had had some interest on ebay with an offer of 7500, which i was happy to accept, sadly it fell through due to the buyer not wanting to travel the distance.
