Alarm keeps on going off

Much to the annoyance of the neighbourhood my car alarm goes off at 03.00 am every morning.

Volvo has fitted a new mass movement sensor and adjusted the sensitivity but still the problem persists.

It is not passing traffic, animals or human interference setting it off.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Could it possibly be windy and an airfreshener hanging off the mirror, a friend of mine had this problem in i his Galaxy, he came out to find the air freshener swinging slightly, removed and hasn't happened since

Heavy rain used to do it for me.

Problem was a crack in the casing to the Central Electronics Module (CEM). Apparently this is a common defect and Volvo replaced under warranty even though my car was outside the Manufacturers Warranty.
