Glove box lid catch (screwed to the dash)

I’m not after the bit that usually breaks inside the lid, but the metal catch that is screwed to the dash behind the glove box itself. Similar to the V70 but slightly smaller. It really is only a five minute job to remove. 8 screws to remove to pull the glove box forward. Has anyone got one going spare please.

Thanks.

Can you not get it welded up?

amazondean Dec 13th, 2018 08:36

It's missing. It is one of those items that is usually never needed from a scrap car because that catch is solid. It's the bit from the glove box lid that breaks. There should be loads of these about if anyone has one spare.

Thanks

I'm breaking a 2001 c70 if that's any use ??

I believe the c70 will be the same as the s70. It is too long for the 850. The 850 is unique to that car unfortunately

Hi amazondean

What car is this for (Model and year)?

Steve

PS
Sorry just read 850

amazondean Jan 15th, 2019 17:57

Yes that's right, an 850. can't believe no one has got one, as they are not usually wanted and only take 5 minutes to remove!!
