home safe lights ????????????
 

had my 2014 r.design xc60 2.4 approx 6 months,just noticed my,
approach lights,and home safe lights do not come on ?
i have gone through the light settings,changed the times but none of them seem to work,
any ideas please ????

not sure what you mean ?

on mine (xc60 as well) approach lights are switched on via the button on the fob, home safe lights are triggered pull pulling the light stalk with the ignition off.

I always leave lights on auto so no idea if any other position changes their function.


has been the same on my previous 4 cars

Same for me as explained in the manual......

ffs as soft as it sounds i never even looked at the fob,i honestly thought the entrance button done it ?
i will try it tonight when i go out.

just went out and used the correct button,the lights are on auto,
the rear lights came on with the front indicator lights ?
are the headlights supposed to come on also ?

nope for the approach lights it's sidelights, rears, puddle lights(if you have them) & interiors.

home safe lights on the stalk illuminate dipped beams for a time set in the my car menus. not 100% on xenons as to what exactly lights will check on mine in the morning
