Volvo Owners Club Forum - 2004 Titanium Grey S40 1.9d SE Manual

I've finally sourced a respectable T4 so I am putting my much cherished S40 up for sale. Purchased 3 years ago from a local dealer, it was the cleanest example I could find. Prior to that it was driven by an elderly gentleman who owned it from new.

The car is in very good condition and mechanical order. It does some minor marks and blemishes commensurate with age but overall it is a very tidy example. It has a full service history including a documented cambelt change at 60,000 miles in May 2017 plus new discs/pads all round last year. It recently passed an Mot which is now due in Feb 2021. I replaced the factory telesto alloy wheels with a set of arcadias which have been professionally refurbished in anthracite. Tyres are GT radial sport active all round with plenty of tread left.

It features all the usual SE refinements such as cruise control, climate control, cream leather, electric windows, electric drivers seat plus optional winter pack. I have made a few upgrades to the car to enhance its appearance as follows:

Factory front spoiler
Factory boot spoiler
Wood trim replaced with cyborg trim
Standard HU-605 stereo replaced with HU-1205 unit
16 inch telesto's replaced with 17 inch arcadia's
Black and chrome sport bezel headlights and indicators

Cheap tax and insurance. Very economical and I've seen 60mpg on a long run driving conservatively. Car has been 100% reliable. Very reluctant sale but I can't justify the running costs for two vehicles.
