2.5d v70 osf drive shaft.

Hi all, I'm looking for a good drive shaft for a 99-00 v70 2.5d.

Its the drivers side/OSF

must be willing to post, unless you are in Malton/York!

Cheers

Ben

Hi

It might help if you can read the part number which might be on a barcode label halfway up the shaft.

I dont know if diesel driveshafts are the same as petrol.

Is yours auto or manual?

Unfortunately the barcode is gone, I can see where it should be though!

Vida is showing 8601574 or 8602608

however skandix, and others are giving me - 8251759 -

It's a manual m56 gbox

I think the petrol turbos and police spec were the same as the tdi's

Look at https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/p...0/8602608.html
which says that part has been replaced by
https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/p...2/8251759.html

then check out What this fits

Volvo C70 2.3l 5 cylinder Turbo Convertible 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004
Volvo C70 2.3l 5 cylinder Turbo Coupe 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002
Volvo S70 2.3l 5 cylinder Turbo 1999, 2000
Volvo S70 2.4l 5 cylinder 2000
Volvo S70 2.5l 5 cylinder 1999
Volvo V70 2.3l 5 cylinder Turbo 1999, 2000
Volvo V70 2.4l 5 cylinder 2000
Volvo V70 2.5l 5 cylinder 1999

but I think it may be only for manual trans.

You could try https://www.jandrcvjoints.co.uk/ and put in your reg - you might be lucky.

Cheers Steve,

Thanks for taking the time to help there, much appreciated.

The price difference between those two places is astonishing, 530euro compared to £40 in stock...

Many thanks

Ben

Auto driveshafts will also fit.....

If you buy from J and R, I would go via ebay rather than by phone.

Provide your reg and vin, that way if they supply the wrong one, they should take it back etc.
